Cet article est divisé en deux parties coextensives. La première partie porte sur la contribution interdisciplinaire des principales approches en anthropologie de l’alcool à la constitution d’une alcoologie contemporaine. À ce titre, on identifiera les principales approches théoriques existantes afin d’établir les limites des orientations et des ethnographies portant un regard moral autour de la question : pourquoi boire ? La deuxième partie introduit le concept de « dernier verre » de Gilles Deleuze qui sert à amener un peu de possible à l’anthropologie de l’alcool.
ALCOHOL : WHY IS A MORAL PARADIGM PERDURING AMONG ANTHROPOLOGISTS ?
This article is divided into two coexisting parts. The first one discourses on interdisciplinary contribution of the main approaches ranging from anthropology of alcohol to contemporaneous alcohology. In this sense, I have identified the main existing theoretical trends in order to establish boundaries for these theoretical and ethnographical orientations which have a moral perspective regarding the matter : why is alcohol consumed ? The second part deals with introducing Gilles Deleuze’s concept of “ the last glass ”, and how it can bring some contribution to anthropology of alcohol.

Este artigo está dividido em duas partes co-extensivas. A primeira parte porta sobre a contribuição das principais abordagens em antropologia do álcool à constituição interdisciplinar de uma alcoologia contemporânea. Neste sentido, identificaremos os principais viés teóricos existentes afim de estabelecer os limites dessas orientações e das etnografias correlacionadas que portam um olhar moral sobre a questão: por que beber? A segunda parte introduz o conceito de “último copo” de Gilles Deleuze que levará um pouco de possível à antropologia do álcool.
